4 Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves; otherwise we shall be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.” (Genesis 11: 4). In prophecy, the word "name" means 'mission' or 'handiwork.'
Since the days of Genesis 11 in verse 4, 'man' on earth had had continuously established numerous 'missions' or 'handiworks' on earth. Democracy, Socialism, Monarchism, Communism, Empire-buildings, Kingdom-buildings, Colonialism, nation-buildings and etc., etc...are the examples of man's "names" on earth. The 'name' of God is understood as proclaimed in Exodus 34: 5-7. The 'name' which was proclaimed in Exodus 34: 5-7 is always referring to the immutability of the Divine attributes! All covenanted 'name' of God, like YHVH and Christ Yeshua are flowing from that immutable 'name' of God as proclaimed in Exodus 34: 5-7.
Genesis 11: 4 was the beginning of the 'man's' handiwork i.e. in making a 'name' for themselves. God's Words in Isaiah 46: 10 reveals that God made known the 'end' from the beginning! Genesis 11: 4 was one of the examples of ''beginnings.' The ''name,' 666, in Revelation 13 was the last-days man-made 'name,' which enslaved human beings on earth. This 'name' is, oftentimes, misinterpreted by the fanciful theologians. The name, 666, is simply the 'handiwork' of mankind on earth in the last-days. It is 'covenanted' because, the word 'beast' means the government on earth. So, the name of the 'beast' means the 'agenda' or handiwork of the world governing body, in which all nations/governments had had entered into the Covenant of that handiwork-- 666.
God had purposely given that mystery unto St. John, so that the people of God might be blessed, when the Spirit of Understanding and Wisdom 'unfolds' the 'deeper' meanings of that mystery. It serves as one of the signs on Earth which always points to the apocalyptic period--Judgment! There are three realms of the Spirit where the signs of times could be read by any gifted christian: the 'signs' in the heavens (sevenfold heavens), the ''signs' in the skies (the spiritual skies) and the 'signs' on Earth. So, 666 is one the apocalyptic 'signs' on earth revealing the 'ticking clock' of our days...
